The regional meeting included a kick-off dinner and business session for NAE Members, as well as a symposium and reception for NAE Members and researchers, practitioners and partners throughout Northern California. The symposium was titled "Tensions at the Edge: Competing Objectives in Engineering Solutions to Society’s Most Pressing Problems."
